Recently, I started consulting with a nonprofit organization. My plan is to significantly grow this area of business. I look forward to being active with your blog and organization. You are now on my Technorati favorites list.
Hi, Elsom, welcome to the blogosphere. I’ve been blogging for almost three years, and I find it a welcome outlet for opinions that would be hard to express in other channels, as well as a great way to point others to important resources, to clarify my own thinking, and to impart critical information to my readers.
In fact, this summer, I switched all my newsletters from e-zine to blog–including two that were over ten years old!
Consultants and coaches make a good niche. In my experience as a marketing consultant, I find many have great, even life-changing approaches with their clients, but they don’t have an easy time getting the word out. And as a consultant myself, I know it’s a community that’s very supportive, and also quite diverse.
I’m sure you’ll do very well with it.
